The U-Render real-time Non-photorealistic Rendering (NPR) features package offers you great functions. It’s a new creative tool you can use to communicate your style.

NPR materials are used for any kind of abstract style that is not forced to have PBR materials: Toon style with gradient and lines.
Fast! It works in real-time. Fun! It enables you to create a wide variety of expressive styles for digital art.

NPR gives you the possibility to create more stylized scenes like cartoon shading.

Color

MAP SSGI AND GRADIENT

Enjoy endless possibilities for your materials. Gradients and textures can be mixed together in order to achieve a toon effect for the color.

SPECULARITY

COLOR, GLOSSINESS AND MUCH MORE

Specularity Color, Glossiness / Roughness and environment give you more creative freedom. Let your imagination fly!

EMISSIVE

COLOR, TEXTURE AND FALLOFF

They have the same glowing effect as in PBR, without affecting nearby objects. Your pictures have an enhanced depth effect.

RIM LIGHT

MAKE YOUR SCENE LOOK ALIVE

Bring light into your scene without the effort of building a lighting set up. Rim light will simplify it.

NORMAL / BUMP

ADD FINE DETAILS TO YOUR SURFACE

Normal and Bump Maps are easy to handle. Both give you additional structures on the surface base.

MASK / STENCIL
